Anthony C. Payne (M 67-01) writes:
“I was greatly saddened to read of the death of Richard Elgood (nicknamed “Dickon” by Sam Parkinson!). He and I started together in September 1967 (David Marshall was out by a year in his excellent reminiscences), and I picked up contact with him briefly in later years when I found out that he wrote light verse (as do I). I remember him with great affection.”
